Zadar, Croatia
The Sea Organ at the harbour in Zadar emits random harmonic sounds as the waves of the Adriatic strike the shoreline. The higher the waves the louder and more dynamic the sound. The organ which consists of polyethylene tubes laid under marble steps was constructed by the architect Nikola Basic as part of a massive shoreline reconstruction project. The completed structure was opened to the public on the 15th of April 2005.
